Mercy Ships operate the largest non-governmental hospital ship in the world providing humanitarian aid in the form of free health care, community development projects, community health education, mental health programs, agriculture projects, and palliative care for terminally ill patients.
This Christian charity is working to bring hope and healing to the forgotten poor in our world who have no access to safe and affordable surgical procedures.
The Africa Mercy is staffed by volunteers and is currently docked in Senegal. For more information about the Mercy Ships charity, click here: mercyships.org.uk.
These words of Mother Teresa were part of the inspiration which motivated the founder of this charity.
Last year we supported St Luke’s Hospice, a charity local to us in South Devon, and we were pleased to raise over £1800.
Thank you to everyone who has helped us support these wonderful organisations.
