Kingsbridge regular events

Covid-19: Whilst many of our regular activities remain suspended for the time being, we continue to explore ways in which we can safely connect with our church and community within current government restrictions.

On this page you will find details for: The Ark, Bible study, Friday coffee, Housegroup, Men’s breakfast, Messy Church, table tennis, TOFSS and Tuesday Together.

The Ark

  • For children age 0 – 4 with their parents, grandparents or other carers
  • Friendly space to meet and play
  • Wednesdays in term time from 9.30 – 11.30am in the upstairs hall
  • This term’s sessions have been suspended until further notice

Bible study

  • In the lounge on 1st and 3rd Thursdays from 7.15pm
  • Starting with coffee or tea, we enjoy exploring the Bible together
  • Relaxed and friendly – no need to be an expert!

Friday coffee

  • Every Friday except Bank holidays and Christmas break
  • Serving coffee, tea and biscuits from 10 – 12am in an easily accessible space
  • Informal chance to meet friends, old and new
  • Come on your own or with others, all are welcome

  • Meeting fortnightly on Tuesday evenings at 7.45pm
  • Discussions looking at how we live out our faith in today’s world
  • Informal, encouraging and mutually supportive

Men’s breakfast

  • Held on the final Saturday of the month at 8am
  • Runs January to June and September to November.
  • Hearty Full English breakfast cooked by our team- £5
  • Variety of interesting speakers at this ecumenical event

Messy Church

  • In the church, every 4th Thursday from 3.30 – 6pm
  • Ideal for primary age children with parents, grandparents or carers
  • Craft activities, stories, songs and supper all included

Table Tennis

  • Inclusive and fun activity for all ages
  • In the church hall, Wednesdays and Fridays from 4.30-6pm
  • Enthusiastic amateurs of varying standard
  • Small £1.50 session charge
  • Come along and have a go!

TOFSS (Too Old For Sunday School)

  • For young people of secondary age of any denominations or none
  • 6 – 8pm  on the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month at New Parks Farm
  • Each session includes shared supper, wide-ranging activities and chat
  • A safe space to explore what we do and don’t believe

Tuesday Together                                               

  • Craft and friendship group – open to all
  • Knitting, games, conversation, tea and group projects
  • 2.30pm in the church every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month
