Prayer of the day

Prayer is God’s initiative, a gift which enables us to be attentive to the presence of God in our lives and in the world. It is also a means of expressing what we believe about God and can prompt us to act to change the world as we respond to God’s love.

Sometimes a prayer is expressed in words. Sometimes it is expressed through actions. Sometimes it is expressed in waiting, reflecting and listening. However we pray, God delights that we choose to spend time with him and acknowledge his care of us and all his creation.

Beware – You may be changed as you meet God through prayer.
